Any day is an excuse to celebrate Apalachicola Bay oysters - baked, fried, raw, steamed, smoked, yum! Check in on the Franklin County TDC facebook page and let us about your favorite oyster recipe. Curious about the finer points of oyster shucking? Check out this video and mark your calendars for a couple of events we do know something about - the St. George Island Oyster Festival on Oct. 8-9 and the Florida Seafood Festival on Nov. 4-5. You can find details for each here.
